2nd Place World Champion!
The FIA family is pleased to congratulate our very own Lindsey Lee in her latest powerlifting achievements. She recently traveled to Maia (Porto), Portugal to compete in the 2015 World Powerlifting Congress World Championships. Competing in Women’s Open RAW Full Power (RAW, Only weight belts and wrist wraps allowed, no special lifting suit), Lindsey came in second place for her weight class. Listed below are the weights of her 3 lifts:
Squat 160kg/352lbs
Bench-press 85kg /187.5lbs
Deadlift 182.5kg /402.5lbs
Total 427.5kg/ 942lbs
We would also like to congratulate Team USA for receiving Best Female RAW Team. The lovely ladies that make up the Female RAW Full Power Team are Kalya Heal, Rachel Zipsie, Gi’Anna Cheairs, and Lindsey Lee. Each of the ladies placed in the top three for their weight class.
